                                HORSESHOES - Individuals, interested in horseshoe pitching, are invited to attend the Annual Spring Membership meeting of the West St. Paul Horseshoe Club.  The meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the West St. Paul Library on Wentworth Avenue. The club begins the season May 3-5, with leagues for Women, Men, and Junior Boys & Girls.  No experience is necessary.  All skill levels and beginners are welcomed.  Instructions provided by veteran players.  Team competition is similar to bowling leagues.  Men play on Tuesday mornings, and Tuesday evenings.  There are Wednesday night & Thursday night leagues available.  Junior boys and girls (ages 7-18) play Wednesday afternoons at 1:00 p.m. from mid-June to mid-August. Bring your backyard pitching skills to our courts and improve your game while having fun and meeting other horseshoe pitchers from this area.  For further information call Dick Dvorak, WSP Horseshoe Club President 651-774-7734.   P.S. - Work Party - Saturday, April 30th at 9:00 a.m. at the West St. Paul Sports Complex.

 

SPECIAL TOURNAMENT DATE:

Saturday, June 4, 2011 – WSP Open Horseshoe Tournament for all sanctioned players. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in 8-man classes. Entry fee $25.00.
