| The West St. Paul Horseshoe Club was established in 1985 as a Sanctioned Minnesota Gopher State Horseshoe Pitchers Association (MGSHPA), and National Horseshoe Pitchers Association (NHPA) club.

The Story of the club. The West St. Paul Horseshoe Club was established by West St. Paul and surrounding area horseshoe pitchers in order to promote, foster and develope the game of horseshoe pitching, both as a competitive sport and a recreational pastime and provide proper facilities to ensure the continued growth of the game.
